George H. Ragland, Jr. graduated from Wake Forest University with his undergraduate degree in 1962 and his law degree on 1965.  He is admitted to practice before all state courts in Virginia as well as the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.

He is a member of the Virginia State Bar (member, 10th District Grievance Committee, 1976-1979); the Fairfax County Bar (member, Fee Arbitration Committee, 1982-1985); the Arlington County Bar; Virginia Trial Lawyers Association; The Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the American Bar Association.  In addition, he serves as a Commissioner in Chancery in the Arlington County Circuit Court from 1988 to the present and was previously appointed as Commissioner in Chancery for the Circuit Court of Fairfax County.  Prior to his establishing his private practice, Mr. Ragland served as Captain in the United States Air Force as a Judge Advocate.  His practice areas include civil litigation. residential and commercial real estate law, tort and personal injury law, estate planning, family law, collections, corporate law and general business matters.  Mr. Ragland has had an AV rating for the past ten years, the highest rating available as established by the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory.

Mary Ellen Slugg graduated from George Mason University with her undergraduate degree in 1984 and her law degree in 1987.  She is admitted to practice before all state courts in Virginia as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia and the United Stated Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.

She is a member of the Virginia State Bar, the Fairfax County Bar, the Arlington County Bar, and the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association. Her practice areas include family law, including juvenile representation, civil litigation, personal injury law, collections, real estate law, landlord/tenant disputes and general business matters.
